Message your workers right on their Workstation tablet

A direct line to the shop floor

You can now send a message straight to a worker's Workstation tablet — no phone number, no personal texting. Open Messages in Admin, pick a worker, and send a note. It shows up the next time they check their tablet, with an unread badge so they know something's waiting.

Workers see the same thing from their side: a Messages tab on Workstation where they can read what you sent and reply. Messages stay on the shop tablet — nothing is texted or emailed off-device.

When a worker messages you back, the FabWise Supervisor iOS app sends you a push notification, so you don't have to keep checking. On the web, the unread count shows up right in your Messages inbox.

Turn it on

Messaging is off by default. Enable it under Settings → Time Tracking → Enable Workstation Messages. Once it's on, the Messages tab appears for your workers and the inbox appears for your admins, managers, and supervisors.
