Online Quote Acceptance

Send the customer a link to review and accept your quote online — or sign it by hand.

Why it matters

Getting a quote accepted is the moment a job becomes real. FabWise gives the customer a simple, branded page to accept online, so you have a clear, dated record of their agreement — no printing, scanning, or chasing a signature.

How it works

You send the customer a link to their quote. The page shows your shop's name and branding and the quote details. The customer checks a box agreeing that their online acceptance is their signature, then accepts. FabWise records who accepted, when, and from where. If the customer would rather sign on paper, they can download the quote, sign it, and upload the signed copy — that signed copy becomes the official record.

Where to find it

  • Page: the Quote tab of a job (to send the link)
  • Path: Jobs > (open a job) > Quote
  • Who can see it: account owners and admins send the link; the customer opens the page from their email

What you'll see

Sending the quote

Email the quote to your customer's contact from the job's quote page. The email includes the link to the acceptance page.

What the customer sees

A page with your shop's logo and brand color, the quote and its total, a consent checkbox, and an Accept quote button. Below that, a Prefer to sign by hand? option lets them download the quote and upload a signed copy.

After acceptance

The quote is marked accepted and a confirmation goes to the customer. The job is now ready for deposits and billing.

What to do

  • Make sure the customer's contact has an email address.
  • Email the quote, then wait for the customer to accept online.
  • If they sign on paper instead, their uploaded signed copy is kept as the official record.

Common questions

Q: Do I need a separate e-signature service?
A: No. Acceptance is built into FabWise.

Q: Is an online acceptance legally valid?
A: The customer agrees that their online acceptance is their signature under U.S. electronic-signature law. FabWise records the agreement, the date, and the delivered quote.

Q: What if the customer wants to sign on paper?
A: They can download the quote, sign it, and upload the signed copy. That copy becomes the official record of acceptance.
